Mission driven

"Do we have missions of our own? "
The answer should be 'Yes.' I believe everyone has their own mission for life.If you feel you don't have any missions, maybe it's just not clear enough, or you haven't tried to find them.

If we don't have missions, how do we figure out what the right decision is for ourselves?
Because of our missions, we would know which way to go for them and could confidently say 'No' to other paths.


What about companies?
Do you think all of them have missions? The answer would be 'No.'
Some companies insist they have missions and visions, but most of the time, they are just words or phrases without hearts and souls. Often, companies don't even have those words or phrases.

A true mission gives us the power to keep going.
A true mission gives us the courage to take risks and the confidence to choose our own path while rejecting others.

There is no single right mission for all of us.Each company can have its own mission, which can be completely different from others.
It's like climbing mountains. You cannot climb unless you first decide which one you want to conquer.

Facing Fear and Seeking Growth

 Some of you may already know this, but I make it a habit to read 10 to 15 books every month. It’s not so much a hobby—rather, I feel uneasy if I’m not constantly exposing myself to new ideas, disciplining my mind, and learning with hunger and intention. It might sound unpleasant to some, but in reality, having a strict boss or senior colleague who constantly tells you, “This is not good enough!” is a privilege. What is the "Kinoko Management" style for Hattori??

 As the season for warm, hearty meals approaches, mushrooms— kinoko in Japanese—frequently appear in dishes like hot pots. I personally love maitake mushrooms, although “mushroom” is how we refer to them in English. Interestingly, we intentionally call our management style Kinoko Management in English as well, keeping the unique essence of this concept. Mushrooms are not vegetables but fungi.
