Thre is no single right answer in business world

In business, there are often moments when we strongly believe, "I am right!" We may perceive our boss, customers, team members, or other departments as being wrong. However, it's important to recognize that most of the time, they also believe they are right and acting in the best interests of their team or company.

The reason for these differing perspectives lies in the lack of these
➀information
②goals
③ personalities,
④responsibilities
⑤time frames
Without these shared understandings, decisions and viewpoints can vary greatly among individuals.

In Japanese education, students are taught to learn and memorize the "right" answers for tests. However, in reality, there is rarely a single right answer. We tend to cling to our own ideas, believing them to be the only correct ones.

Unless we acknowledge these factors, negotiations and decision-making can become challenging. Engaging in tough negotiations may yield short-term victories, but it can leave a lasting negative impact. The opponents will remember the negative feelings, even if we eventually forget them.

Recognizing that there can be 180 degree different answers based on various aspects, such as short-term or long-term benefits, is crucial. While it's impossible to manage every aspect, understanding that there is no single right answer can foster better long-term relationships and collaborations.
